About Dan Whalen

I've had a facination with the world of photography since my very first pocket 110 film camera as a kid and from there it grew into a passion of mine where I'm always trying something new in the world of photography. I'm a type of  photographer that "thinks outside the box" making my photos different from what is considered the "norm" in photography. Many schools teach you the basic, finding out your strenghts in photography is no easy task, but the end result is rewarding in itself. Since the onset of digital photography, I have become more passionate about photography and Cosplay photography has brought out a whole new genre of photography and the possiblities are amazing.

I am not set to any single "genre" of photography, having the challenge of trying something new everytime and building upon that challenge is rewarding.

Many things in life bring a smile.... it's only a smile.... and it does comes back! thus... getting that perfect photo, is smiles enough for me.
